Artists of FHT 2016 – Emilia Krankowska

Curator of the ceramics section of the Festival of High Temperatures 2016

Emilia Krankowska (born 1990) – in 2009 she graduated with distinction from the Secondary School of Arts in Częstochowa, specializing in ceramics. In 2014 she graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (MFA), majored in Art and Design of Ceramics. She has worked as an assistant tutor in the Studio of functional ceramic design since 2015. She participated in the Erasmus program in the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She had a training in the studio of an artist – Yasser Ballemans in Rotterdam and a ceramic internship in Lycee Polyvalent Leonardo de Vinci in Antibes in France. She took part in design exhibitions: Wawa Design in Warsaw, Gdynia Design Days, Wroclove Design Festival. She has taken part in many group exhibitions. She was awarded the Scholarship of Minister of Science and Higher Education in 2013/14.
