Artists of Festival of High Temperatures 2015 – Michał Staszczak

Michał Staszczak (born 1979) assistant professor in the Studio of small sculpture and the Casting studio at the Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw. Organiser of Festival of High Temperatures since 2007.

The only artist in Poland who builds his foundry furnaces himself and he casts his works using them. He has organised many casting workshops – iron, bronze, aluminum and he has constructed many furnaces. He presents his works during exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
