FAST DESIGN – workshop of designing glass

Fast Design is a workshop of designing glassware led by Beata Mak-Sobota.

This workshop will be an occasion to try your hand at designing glassware and find out what it is all about. The best project will be realised during the demonstration of glassblowing at the Festival of High Temperatures.

Beata Mak-Sobota – born in 1968. In 1989- 1994 she studied glass design at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. Since 1994 she has worked at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Wrocław Academy and since 2014 she has been an associate professor. In 2008 – 2012 she was a head of the Department of Glass and since 2016 she has been a Vice-Rector of the Academy. She has participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
