How are neons made?

In the program of this year edition of the festival you won't miss neons! Włodzimierz Grzybowski and a graduate of Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław – Kamila Mróz, will present the technology of discharge lamps.

They will talk about factors which make up for the diversity of colors of light in the pipes filled with gas. They will show different possibilities and methods of fusing, joining and bending glass pipes in the fire of a gas torch. The author will demontrate this unusual art while making our festival logo. Workshops in this technique are dedicated only to people who already have some experience with forming glass in the fire of a gas torch. Włodzimierz Grzybowski will run workshops of joining and bending glass pipes for students and teachers of the Academy. The audience is invited to come and see them at work!
