Beata Damian-Speruda glass

Beata Damian-Speruda was born in 1965 in Bystrzyca Kłodzka. She lives and works in Wrocław. She graduated from The Highschool of Arts and The Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She ran her own design workshop for stained glass and glass objects until 2006. Since 2008 she has been working at The Fine Arts Academy in Wrocław in The Hot Glass Class Techniques Workshop of The Glass Department. She makes unique and utilitarian glass objects using hot sculpting as well as cold working techniques. She participated in various exhibitions, symposia and outdoor events in Poland and abroad.

Beata Damian-Speruda will conduct demo of flameworking techniques „Playing with glass” during which utilitarian and unique objects will be produced. She will be assisted by Katarzyna Gemborys and Kamila Mróz. All this to see and on Saturday between 13.00-15.00. There will be also a possibility to work with the artist and to make your own wild strawberry during her workshops „Fruit and Vegetables” on Saturday between 17.30-21.00. Katarzyna Gemborys and Kamila Mróz will there there to help you as well.
