Katarzyna Harasym glass

Katarzyna Harasym graduated from The Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts in ceramics and glass. She studied in Fundació Centre del Vidre in Barcelona for two years as well. She worked in glass workshops of Luesma Vega, Studio Blanco i Pepe Cristales. Flameworking is her favorite technique, but she often combines it with other techniques such as fusing and pate de vêrre. Her glass installation titled „Descamació –Złuszczenia” was chosen by The Corning Museum off Glass in New York as one of the greatest works of the year 2011. Currently, she lives in Wrocław where she conducts her workshop „Przezroczysta”. She shares her knowledge during courses of flameworking and fusing techniques.
