Conference “The Art of Creating at High Temperatures”
We would like to invite you to the Conference accompanying the 10th Festival of High Temperatures in Wrocław, which will take place on Friday and Sunday.
The event will be the forum of exchanging thoughts in the field of art made with fire – technological issues, history, aesthetic and formal considerations, as well as presenting works of art of particular artists. We have invited eleven artists from Poland, Wales, USA, Egypt and Ukraine who will share their knowledge and passion in the form of 20 minute lectures in three different sections – ceramics, metal and glass. About their experiences with metal we will hear from Wayne Potratz, David Lobdell and Matthew Tomalin. About ceramics we will find out more from Bożena Sacharczuk, Mohammed El Abd i Romana Motyl. In the glass section there will be lectures of: Benjamin Wright, Brent Cole, Justyna Żak i Natalia Oleszczuk. Place: New Building, ASP ul. Traugutta 19/21, Conference room, 410 (4th floor)
