Conference “Fire and Art”

You are cordially invited to the conference "Fire and Art" within the twelfth Festival, which will take place on June 21st and June 23rd in room 410 (New Building).
CONFERENCE "Fire and Art" The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław ul. Traugutta 19/21 The conference is a place to talk about broadly defined art created with fire. Our guests will be talking about technological issues, history, aesthetic and formal considerations, as well as presenting their individual works. We have invited ten outstanding speakers from Poland, the USA, Korea, Great Britain and Norway, who are going to share their knowledge and passion through 20-minute lectures. The lectures will be divided into three sections: CERAMICS, METAL and GLASS. Tamsie Ringler, Noah Kirby and David Lobdell will speak about their experiences with metal. Ceramics will be the common theme of the lectures by Jason Hess, Yujin Moon, Jung Hong Park, Kay Aplin and Joseph Young. Brent Cole, Eirin Bjørsland Hansen and Kamila Mróz will tell us about glass. Lectures will be held in English [EN] or Polish [PL] and they will not be interpreted. Gallery SiC! BWA Wrocłąw is a partner of the conference.
