Conferece “Art on Fire. Fire in Art”

We would like to invite you to the Conference accompanying the 9th edition of the Festival of High Temperatures in Wrocław, which will take place on Friday and Sunday.
The event will be the forum of exchanging thoughts in the field of art made with fire – technological issues, history, aesthetic and formal considerations, as well as presenting works of art of particular artists. We have invited eleven artists from Poland, Luxemburg, Wales, USA, Lithuania and Sweden who will share their knowledge and passion in the form of 20 minute lectures in three different sections – ceramics, metal and glass. About their experiences with metal we will hear from Jack Gron and Andy Griffiths. About ceramics we will find out more from Tomas Daunora, Oliwia Beszczyńska and Sigrid Espelien, Kacper Kuźnicki and Mirosław Kulla. In the glass section there will be lectures of: Anne Claude Jeitz, Jorg Hanowski, Katarzyna Gemoborys i Sebastian Pietkiewicz.
