Artists of FHT 2016 – Tomas Daunora

The aim of Tomas Daunora's project is to build a woodfired kiln for black ceramics. It is a very old method which has been used for centuries in Lithuania.

Tomas Daunora – a graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Art, curator and participant of many foreign symposia and exhibitions. The author and curator of the ”Gobis/Outside Expo” project, director of the "Kwadratas" Group, director of the Centre of Design at the Vilnius Academy of Art. He makes his projects in the field of pottery, ceramic sculpture, watercolour painting and drawing. Tomas Daunora is an artist who undertakes the theme of spiritual economy.
