Artists of FHT 2016 – Kalina Bańka

This year Kalina Bańka will lead workshops and show entitled "Glass controlled"

Kalina Bańka (born 1989) – a graduate of the Faculty of Glass and Ceramics in the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. Since 2013 she has been an assistant in the Studio of Glass in Architecture and Studio of Stained Glass, supervised by the associate professor Ryszard Więckowski. She has made her two solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions of glass and painting in Poland and abroad. She has won numerous Polish and international competitions in the field of glass, design, graphics and painting. In 2013 she received the award of the President of Dąbrowa Górnicza for her art achievements and the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture “Young Poland”. In her work she combines glass design, graphics and painting.
